1. The first is if during water intake or filling proccess, water begin to leak from the dispenser, you either have a blocked dispenser hose or your water pressure is too high. Blocked dispenser hoses is caused by low water pressure, the washed detergent is not washed fast enough into the drum and they get deposited in the dispenser hose. To clear the hose, TURN OFF the appliance from the mains, unplug it, remove the top lid, locate the dispenser hose and then squeeze to unclog the soap powder. To reduce your water pressure, locate to inlet water valve, this is mostly located under the sink unit or behind the washing machine. Turn the valve just to reduce the pressure BUT dont shut OFF the water supply.

2. If you are having water leak from the soap dispenser during the spin cycle then it is more likely you have a blocked sump OR blocked drain outlet this is attached to the drain point under the sink unit. If your washing machine has a filter in front, check the filter first and then the outlet.

After you have than all the above and you still have leakage from the dispenser then it is time to call a service engineer. Try to find a service engineer who can give you a round estimate, dont go for those who charge by the minute or hour.

You can find drain cleaner at most grocery stores, or any home improvement store. The cleaners that are available to the general public work by using either an acid based solution or an alkaline solution. This is the active ingredient in the drain cleaner that will break up and dissolve the clog. There are several new cleaners entering the market that call themselves “natural” cures to clogged drains. They use enzymes to eat through the grease and clog.

The prevailing wisdom is that the thicker the cleaning solution the better. This is because if the drain cleaner is thick, it will fill the entire pipe and cling to the walls of the pipes longer. This will clean the pipes quicker and remove any buildup that resulting in pipe becoming clogged in the first place.

Make sure that you read the directions. If you have a septic tank, make sure that the product specifically states that it is safe for septic systems. All you need to do is pour the amount the directions say into the drain. Do not just pour it all in, save at least a quarter of the bottle, in case you need to repeat the process. Let the drain cleaner sit for at least 20 minutes. If there is still standing water, let it sit for an additional 20 minutes. Once the water has cleared, turn the hot water on and let it run for five minutes. If the drain shows any sign that it is not completely cleared, repeat the process with the remaining drain cleaner.

A few safety tips to keep in mind. Wear safety goggles when pouring the drain cleaner, if any were to splash in your eyes it would burn badly. Make sure the room you are in is well ventilated. And most importantly, never mix cleaners; they can combine to make very toxic fumes. Clearing a blocked drain is easy to do with drain cleaner and should be your first step when trying to clear a clog.

Knowing that it’s only limescale that is the problem here is the first step to resolving the problem. Some people go ahead and replace the unit once the nozzles become blocked in this way. Indeed one can certainly do this, however, there is a method to unblock these nozzles using an easy, step by step technique that has been proven to work and clear the blockages in minutes.

½ liter of white vinegar, 1 liter of water

Do you know what the best way to unblock drains is? Using a plunger is the most effective and quickest way to solve this common household problem. What’s involved is very clear, cover the drainage with the plunger and push. But don’t just shove the plunger into the drain pipe and start pumping it violently, you could make matters much worse. To achieve the desired effect, the drain should be totally covered with the head of the plunger and then the bell-shaped rubber must be pressed down slowly; next the handle should be pulled up fast and with good enough force to produce an effective suction. The suction created with the upward movement will pull back the blockage that is stuck in the drainpipe of your tub, sink or toilet. Some tubs and sinks have an overspill outlet; remember to plug this outlet with the help of a wet towel or sponge before using the plunger.

Instead of using your plunger you can apply commercial products containing chemicals that can dissolve the clog, for instance concentrated drains pipes cleaner. These products should be used only when the plunger has failed to clean out your bathroom drain pipe. You should allow the chemicals time to take effect and then, once the material that is clogging the drain has been disintegrated you can flush it out with hot water. Wear proper clothes while dealing with chemicals, remember the strong chemicals can fall on your clothes and spoil them so be careful with that. And since plunging can throw water in any direction you might want to consider eye-wear in order to protect you from any chemicals. Just be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions to avoid any unnecessary problems.

You can use a pipe wrench or pliers to unscrew the P-trap if you are unable to remove the blockage with the plunger, this will give you access to the pipe. Now, this process can be really messy, so keep the towel and bucket handy. Chrome plated fittings can be protected from scratches by taping up the teeth of the pliers or wrench; that should also give you a firmer grip on the nuts of the trap. A toilet auger can be used for unclogging the toilet. If you are attempting to clean the drain of your tub or sink, you should use a drain pipe snake. Because of their size and length, drainage snakes are well designed for getting at stoppages in small spaces in difficult to reach places. With the help of the adjustable handle, you can literally drill into the blockage and pull out the clog from the drainage. When you are sure that all the clogging material is cleared, replace the P-trap and test the drainpipe with hot water. Finally, you should double check that everything is sealed properly, tightly screwed into place and make sure that the P-trap does not have any leaks.

If all the above enlisted methods fail to unclog your bathroom drainpipe, then you should call a professional drains contractor. You will need to call a professional plumber or drains service when the blockage is in the sewer or soil track or when it is due to tree roots, or when the pipe has collapsed due to some reason.

Acne is a skin problem for many. During the teenage years this skin disorder arises. During teenage years the male sex hormone, androgens increases both in male and female. This increased androgen causes overproduction of keratin and sebum. This keratin and sebum clogs the skin pores. In the clogged skin pores the presence of bacteria creates acne. Acne creates black spots on the skin if not taken care of properly. Even after the teenage years, when acne is no more around, the black spots on the skin remind you about acne.

Acne removal is the first thing on the mind of a person suffering from acne. Acne occurs when androgen hormone increases in the body causing clogged skin pores. In the clogged skin pore the presence of bacteria forms acne.
Blocked or clogged skin pores, which are visible in the form of blackheads or whiteheads, can become inflamed and form lesions which we commonly call acne. Acne is the generic term for clogged skin pores, pimples and deep-seated cystic or nodular lumps occurring mainly on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and upper arms.

Isotretinoin is the most common, and most potent drug prescribed for cystic acne treatment. It is a man-made form of retinoid (Vitamin A) that is taken in pill form. It is the only prescription that treats excess oil production, clogged skin pores, and inflammation. This pill is taken up to 20 weeks and commonly does not require more than one course of therapy to cure. The most serious side-effect to taking this medication is the possibility of birth defects to a developing fetus.

Glycolic Acid is another product is not as common or widely used as Benzoyl Peroxide. However, it is believed to be efficacious in cleansing dead skins and stimulating the production of new skin cells. Its use in acne is derived from this function, since it is thought that by removing dead cells on the skin surface, it could help open clogged skin pores, however, its actual effectiveness in treating acne is not known. Keeping your car routinely maintained is not only vital in making sure that it remains roadworthy and safe to drive, but can also help to reduce your repair and breakdown costs over the years, and also help to maintain fuel efficiency.

While it is always best to have your car serviced regularly, there are a number of checks and maintenance tasks that can be done on your own to help keep your annual running costs and repair bills down. Other checks include checking your tyre treads and tyre pressure. This last task should also include checking the pressure on your spare tyre. Other checks include the lights and the bodywork – inspecting the outside of the vehicle and bumper for any damage.

However if car maintenance is not something you feel you can tackle yourself, then there are a three main service options available for your car including an oil change service, interim service and full service.

An oil change service should be done once every year or between every five thousand to ten thousand miles driven in your car. Oil is of course crucial to your car’s engine. Oil lubricates and protects the engine’s internal components by reducing friction between the moving parts and washes away any dirt and metal particles. The oil is then cleaned as it passes through the engine oil filter.

which might cause increased wear and tear within the engine. A good car service will include the best grade and quality of engine oil and oil filter required by your vehicles manufacturer. A typical oil change schedule will include replacing the engine oil, replacing the oil filter, checking the tyre treads and air pressures, checking the exhaust, checking the brakes, lights, windscreen and wipers.

An interim service is recommended for cars that cover more miles to maintain vehicle safety and reliability with a service scheduled every 6 months or around six thousand miles. This is a more comprehensive service than an oil change service and includes replacing the air filter, topping up essential fluids and additional vehicle checks.

A typical interim car service may include replacing engine oil, replacing the oil filter, changing the air filter, checking brake fluids, testing car emissions, checking tyre treads and pressures, checking the windscreen washers. An interim service will also include checking the exhaust, checking the suspension, handbrake and car battery.

By sticking to a regular car servicing plan you can help to extend the life of your car, and maintain the vehicle’s performance as well as road safety. The benefits of regular car servicing over the longer term include improved fuel efficiency, a reduction in the cost of breakdowns and repairs, as well as reducing any time your car spends off the road.
